By  |

While the Honda CR-V and the Honda Civic are two different models of car from Honda, they both share many of the same things and one of these is that they are both the best in their segment.

The Honda Civic is at the top of the segment at the moment and the Honda CR-V will be doing the same as the EPA numbers have just been revealed. The CR-V is going to offer up better fuel economy, we already knew that, but the numbers have now shown us just how much better.

The Honda CR-V offers 28mpg when driving in the city, 34mpg when out on the highway and it offers the 1.5 litre turbocharged engine that gives up around 190 horses. If you choose the all-wheel drive version it will offer up 27mpg around the city and 33mpg when out on the highway.

The 2.4 litre engine is available and this gives you 26mpg around the city, 32mpg out on the highway and the all-wheel drive version offers up around 25mpg city driving and 32mpg when out on the highway.

When you compare the Honda CR-V to the Kia Sportage, Subaru Forester and Toyota RAV4, it is the leader and it is making the Honda Civic proud.
