2017 Honda CR-V Isn’t Most Chosen Over Accord and Civic

Honda has been dominating the market and in the past the CR-V has been among the most popular choice of vehicles in the US. However it seems that with the 2017 Honda CR-V the car maker doesn’t want it to be the most chosen over the Accord and Civic.

Honda said that they are not looking for the 2017 Honda CR-V to become the best-selling substitute for the Civic or the Accord. The general manager said that during the development process of the vehicle there was never the mindset that the vehicle was so big that it would take over as the sales leader on a long term basis.

The 2017 Honda CR-V is going to be an equal to the Civic and Accord and the latter two should bring in sales that are similar once the initial sales wave has settled down.

The new Honda CR-V is going to offer the same modular chassis that the Honda Accord and Civic offers and it is going to come with an interior that has been updated and which is luxurious. While it has been changed it is going to remain within the same price bracket as it was before.

There is little doubt that once again the 2017 Honda CR-V is going to take the spot on the best-sellers list but it shouldn’t be above the Civic or Accord, it should be alongside them.
