2017 Honda Civic Styling Heading To CR-V But Will It Pan Out?

By  |

The Honda CR-V badly needs a new look and we have heard that it is going to be treated to one but it will take the style of the 2017 Honda Civic. This means that the vehicle will move away from the soccer mom styling and take on a sportier look with design cues that are sharper and more exciting.

But will the looks of the 2017 Honda Civic work on the Honda CR-V? The styling would look at home on a hatchback, coupe or compact sedan, but on a vehicle with three seating rows and which is typically used for hauling the kids around in.

We saw some spy shots of the Honda CR-V with the styling of the 2017 Honda Civic and some people didn’t like the look, more so the C-shaped taillights. On the Civic however these did get a great deal of praise.

One of the biggest highlights of the Honda CR-V has to be the three seating rows on the longer wheelbase, which were camouflaged on the test vehicles. Some people may not be able to live with it and perhaps they will go for the Honda HR-V instead.
