2017 Honda Civic Lends Styling To CR-V But Does It Work?

By  |

There is little doubt that the Honda CR-V needs a new look and thankfully it is getting one. However it has borrowed the look from the 2017 Honda Civic. This means that the design is going to be sportier, but is the new design going to work?

The Honda CR-V is after all a vehicle that is better known for making the school run than it is a coupe or hatchback, so the sporty looks could be out of place.

We have seen some spy photos of the Honda CR-V and these led people to say that the look doesn’t suit it. In particular it was the C-shaped taillights that have taken a lot of stick. However the look does suit the Honda Civic.

One of the biggest pluses for the Honda CR-V is the three rows of seating and longer wheelbase, which was seen on the test vehicles. However there are some fans who haven’t been able to come to terms with the design and they may go for the HR-V instead.
