2017 Honda Civic Hatchback: Preview Of CR-V And Type-R

The 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback is going to be the foundation for the upcoming 2018 Honda Civic Type R, it is thought that it is going to have the 2 litre EarthDreams turbo-four engine offering 340 horses.

The hatchback is said to be going to dial back on some of the more aggressive elements of the design and we are expecting that the production version of the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback is going to look a lot like the Type-R.

Honda wants the entry level Honda Civic Hatchback to become the canvas for many other vehicles in the line-up.

The sedan is a preview of what we can expect by way of the next generation of the Honda Accord and the hatchback is the inspiration for the 5th generation of the Honda CR-V.

The Honda CR-V could end up looking like the Type-R, or not. Some aspects taken from the hatchback may not be congruent with the CR-V and this includes the dual exhaust which is center mounted.
