2017 GMC Acadia: Nice Try But Meh

By  |

Apparently, GMC has made a lot of changes to the 2017 Acadia in hopes that it would attract more buyers, but it probably wouldn’t be getting the treatment they’re expecting to. That’s because it probably still isn’t something everyone’s ready to accept yet.

They’ve managed to lower down the base price, making it nearly $2000 cheaper, as well as making it undergo some serious weight-loss regimen. The GMC Acadia would be expected to be 700 pounds lighter than its predecessor, so that’s going to make a very big deal (or not). So for the discounted price it has been given, you should be expecting to get the SL FWD trim for @29,995 (including the $995 freight).

Sure, you might have probably noticed that the biggest change is the physical size, as it’s shrinking by seven inches in length and three inches in width. But what you’ll also be expecting is that there will be a new 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine right under its hood which would produce 195 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque.

So, are you convinced to get the Acadia now, or not?
