Ford has to issue a few recalls to address some of the safety issues that some of the vehicles have.

The biggest recall would involve the Ford Transit. According to the reports, the driveshaft’s flexible coupling could crack causing the vehicle to lose power. The car might also roll away when parked and the lose driveshaft could cause more damage to the other components.

The recall will affect those from made from 2015 to 2017 with a medium, long or extended wheelbase as well as chassis cabs on medium wheelbase. A total of 400,000 units will be recalled.

On top of that, Ford will also be issuing a recall for the Ford Interceptor Utility vehicle due to the attachment studs on the second-row seats as well as the 2016 Ford Escape because of the driver’s knee airbag module. The recall will affect four Police Interceptor Utility and three Escapes.
