Many people have dreamed about the 2017 Ford Ranger taking on the Honda Ridgeline in a completion in the US. Now after many months of speculating we have confirmation that the Honda Ridgeline is coming our way but we haven’t heard anything about the Ford Ranger.

The engine in the Honda Ridgeline is the V6 3.5 litre and it has been said that it will offer fuel economy ratings that are very impressive. The Honda Ridgeline is going to offer up the Intelligent Terrain Management system and this will allow owners to make the switch between normal, mud, sand and snow modes.

The Honda Ridgeline will bring with it plenty of safety features, including the Sensing suite with lane departure warning, forward collision warning, lane keeping assistance and more.

Spies have seen the Ford Ranger being tested in the US and it is thought that the vehicle will arrive as the 2017 model. For now we are going to have to wait to see the Ranger take on the Ridgeline.
