Generally in the US the motorsport scene relies heavily on statistics and figures. Usually a vehicle is judged based on the amount of horses it offers and this determines the best. But do figures really matter when it comes to the 2017 Ford GT and the Corvette Z06?
Many fanboys of Chevrolet will criticize the Ford GT and say that it isn’t as attractive as the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and some have gone as far as to say that the GT is slow.
This isn’t correct ad the 2017 Ford GT really isn’t slow by any means and it can match the Chevy Corvette Z06. The GT may have the smaller capacity V6 engine but it does offer the same amount of horses as the Z06, so how can this be called slow? The GT is Fords fastest production car and it may well leave the Z06 behind out on the track.
Right now the only thing we agree with the fanboys is that the Ford GT isn’t as attractive as the Corvette Z06. Both share the same amount of horses, which makes them a good match, but the GT offers 100ft-lbs more torque than what the Z06 offers, so what do you have to say about that fanboys?
