2017 Ford Bronco or Ford Explorer RS: Which Will Sell?

By  |

Yep, it’s the battle between the (still) non-existent vehicles of the 2017 Ford Bronco and the Ford Explorer RS. 2017 could be the year for the Bronco, the Explorer RS and even the Ranger too, if they were to be rebooted, and depending on which would come off first on the checklist. Either one is going to be made a big deal since the Bronco and the Explorer have been halted from production and redesigned overtime respectively.

The Bronco is still very well-loved and if it’s to be rebooted next year, we’re going to expect some awesome features that would come along with it. It’s going to be more lightweight, fuel-efficient and powerful too, thanks to the EcoBoost V6 that’s likely to power up the vehicle, and that it could also house some 300 horsepower with more than enough torque too.

Enthusiasts are expected to like the new design Bronco’s after, with some retro-modern elements we could find on Ford trucks today. So there’s that to look forward to. Rumour also has it that the Ford Explorer RS would undergo some serious refreshed exterior styling and subtle interior revisions too, all the while making it a refined experience for car enthusiasts.

The RS is expected to be powered by a stronger turbocharged V6 power plant under the hood, and some standard features would be added like: the LED headlights and taillights, 18-inch alloy wheels, USB/auxiliary audio inputs, and a premium audio system, among others. It’s deemed to be capable of covering ground as fast, if not faster, than many supercars out there. That’s because it would be aided by the scorching acceleration and compact dimensions as well as grippy handling; making driving an entirely new experience.

Tell us now, which would you be looking forward to the most – be it the Bronco or the Explorer RS?
