By  |

The Dodge Viper is going to be stopped dead in its tracks when production comes to an end in 2017 and this is when the 2017 Dodge Challenger Cobra could take over.

While the name 2017 Dodge Challenger Cobra might not be the most unusual of name, it would at least make sure that no one forgot about the Viper.

The Dodge Viper SRT gives us 645 horses with the V10 8.4 litre and this means that it can go from standing still to 100mph in only 12 seconds and it offers a top speed of as much as 206mph.

The Challenger on the market comes with the V6 3.6 litre engine, however if the 2017 Dodge Challenger Cobra was to take over the Viper it offer up an engine that would have even more power.

Right now we haven’t heard any confirmation about the 2017 Dodge Challenger Cobra coming our way so we are going to have to wait and see what happens when the Viper production is stopped.
