2017 Chevrolet Bolt: The Unwanted Hatchback

By  |

The 2017 Chevrolet Bolt was unveiled today and with it comes a big question – will anyone want one come 2017?

The Chevrolet Bolt boasts LED infused headlights, a five-door hatch body and unique black accents give it its unique looks. While this does garner attention, the big question is with the decline of interest in EVs, is the Chevrolet Bolt releasing in 2017 a little late to the party?

US sales figures for EVs should a decline in the end of Q3, a harsh difference than the trend we saw back in 2013. It appears that global warming deniers and car companies themselves were not pushing EVs the right way with the exception of Tesla Motors and thanks to this we saw a rapid decline in sales. This was a big difference versus the evergrowing sales of your normal gas engine brethren.

It will be interesting to see how 2015 fairs for EVs. Let’s hope that the Chevrolet Bolt has what it takes to light a fire for the green market.

Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, PC, iPhone and Android games keep Berke busy at work all day. Honestly though we’re not sure why we’re paying him as it should be the other way around.
