2017 BMW X3, X4, X5 and X6 Are Going To Be Making Their Way Home

One of the latest recalls is affecting the 2017 BMW X3, X4, X5 and the X6 after BMW issued two recalls.

One of the recalls is affecting the BMW X3 and X4 and the recall is down to an issue with the anchor bar on the child seat. It was said that this could be damaged if used alongside the ISOFIX European type connectors.

It is thought that around 188, 688 units will be affected and the BMW X3 and X4 units that are affected are said to include the 2011 to 2017 versions. If the model is affected they will be fitted with a reinforcing bracket and this would be welded onto the lower anchor bars.

The second recall is affecting the BMW X5 and the X6 and this is down to an issue with the universal joint on the driveshaft at the front, which could have a problem with leaking and so debris and water may damage the driveshaft.

21, 493 units are affected in the recall with the years between 2011 and 2017. Any model of the BMW X5 or X6 affected in the recall will get the driveshift replaced.
