2017 Audi A4 Or BMW 3-Series: Go For Sporty Or Plenty Of Tech?

One of the best-selling sports sedans has been the BMW 3-Series, however the arrival of the 2017 Audi A4 has meant that it has felt threatened.

The 2017 Audi A4 offers up the 2 litre turbocharged engine with four-cylinders and this offers up 190 horses and comes with the dual clutch seven speed gears or the six speed manual. The BMW 3-Series isn’t left out though as it offers up a wide range of engines too.

The BMW 3-Series has the turbocharged four and this is the 320i, while there is also the 328i offering 240 horses. The 335i gives out 300 horses and the same in torque and this is the turbocharged inline-six engine. There is also the 328d turbodiesel four cylinder and this offers 181 horses and the 330e sedan which is a plug-in hybrid, so you are going to be spoilt for choice.

The Audi A4 offers up interior features that beat those of the BMW 3-Series. It offers up a sleek and seamless look with the LCD display on top of the dashboard. The navigation display of the BMW looks odd when compared to the A4s and this isn’t built into the dash.

The BMW 3-Series comes with iDrive for the infotainment system and the Audi A4 has the MMI. Both are good but the MMI comes out ahead as being the more efficient of the two. The Audi also offers up in-car wireless internet along with Audi Connect and Bluetooth.

Choosing between them is really down to what you want out of a vehicle. One of the vehicles is the sportier and the other offers up more technology. But would you go for the BMW 3-Series or would it be the 2017 Audi A4?
