2016 Volkswagen GTi Got Ditch For Ford Focus RS

The Volkswagen GTI is not a model that you can just give up easily. It is fun and exciting but even with everything that the Volkswagen GTi has to offer, the Ford Focus RS still won in the end.

According to one Volkswagen GTi owner, the Ford Focus RS was too hard to resist and he ended up trading in his 2016 Volkswagen GTi for the 2017 Ford Focus RS. Do you think he made the right choice or do you think he should have kept the GTi?

The Ford Focus RS will come in with a 2.3 liter four cylinder engine that will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The engine will be offering about 350hp and 350lb ft of torque.

With the engine, the Ford Focus RS will be able to go from 0-6omph in 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of 165mph. The vehicle will also return about 19mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway.

The Volkswagen Golf GTi, on the other hand, will come with a 2.0-liter engine that will be offering about 210hp and 258lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The Volkswagen GTi will return about 25mpg in the city and 34mpg on the highway.

While the Volkswagen GTi might have an advantage when it comes to fuel efficiency, we are sure it is the last thing the owner will think about is the fuel economy when they are behind the wheels of the Ford Focus RS.
