Seat has unveiled the 2016 Seat Ateca and this is their first attempt at an SUV and it has some of the design of the Seat Leon while being similar to the Audi Q3 but cheaper.

The Seat Ateca is going to be made available in a choice of three different trim levels and if you want to go all out the top of the range is the Ateca Xcellence.

The Seat Ateca offers a trapezoidal grille along with side blisters that boast sharp creases, while the lights on the vehicle are triangular and very much along the lines of those seen on the Seat Leon. The front is brand new and takes on the appearance of an SUV with an air intake that is huge and large and high grille beams. The vehicle does take on something of a muscular stance.

The Seat Ateca gives the owner a welcome thanks to LED lighting that is fitted into the door mirrors and they project the name of the vehicle onto the ground as you are unlocking the door of the vehicle. You can also choose to have full LED headlights if you wish.

The Seat Ateca has measurements of 4, 360mm and the boot offers 510 litres of space when set out in the standards configuration and 485 litres if you go for the all-wheel drive version.

The Seat Ateca Drive Profile is packed with technology and it allows the vehicle to adapt to different driving situations along with road conditions. It also offers the Easy Connect infotainment system along with Full Link and ConnectApp, The Media System Plus offers a touchscreen of eight inches.

The vehicle is said to be lightweight and it will be made available in petrol and diesel variations, with the 1.0 TSI offering 115PS and the 1.6 TDI diesel offering 115PS and a 2.0 TDI also being available offering 150PS. The Seat Ateca is available in all-wheel drive or front wheel drive with dual clutch or manual.
