2016 Nissan Leaf Owners To Get Better Battery Range With New Battery

By  |

The Nissan Leaf is one vehicle that has been attracting owners but the thing that has let it down is the range that it was able to travel. The range is poor but it is going to improve when the 2016 Nissan Leaf arrives on the market with its bigger battery.

The 2016 Nissan Leaf should be heading to the market very soon and when it does it will give owners around 107 miles. This will make the vehicle more along the same lines as the Kia Soul and the Chevrolet Volt.

Owners will be able to travel around 27% further in the 2016 Nissan Leaf and while this is more than the vehicle on the market right now it isn’t going to be in the range that the Tesla offers. The good news is that the price tag isn’t going to be in the same range as the Tesla.

The 2016 Nissan Leaf will be offered in the entry level version and the price tag of this is going to be about $29, 010. At the top of the range you can expect the vehicle to come in at about $36, 790. The price tag is therefore going to be a thousand dollars more than the vehicle at the moment but then it may be worth it.

I heard at the Nissan dealer that the extra mileage to 107 is available only on the SL and SV models. This will add $4,000 to the base price of the S model.
