If you are looking for a vehicle that boasts excellent safety records then you might want to turn your back on the 2016 Hyundai i10 as it managed to score just a 1 star crash rating.

The 2016 Hyundai i10 crash rating was announced recently alongside the Nissan Grand Livina MPV. With the latter received 12.50 out of the 16 points it could have got.

The 2016 Hyundai i10 came in with just 4.40 out of the possible 16, meaning it got just a single star in the AOP. When the first phase tests were made in 2013 the hatchback managed to score 7.31 points which earned it two stars, so it has lost a star instead of gaining them.

The 2016 Hyundai i10 will replace the model on the market at the moment, which came out a lot better in the COP testing as it managed a four star rating with 79% compliance.

So does this put you off the 2016 Hyundai i10 or would you go for it anyway?
