2016 Ford Ranger Could Put End To Mitsubishi, Nissan and Toyota Trucks

When the 2016 Ford Ranger Arrives it may put an end to the trucks offered by Toyota, Nissan and Mitsubishi.

The 2016 Toyota Hilux and the Mitsubishi Triton have both been launched over in Australia but they may not sell well if the 2016 Ford Ranger is anything to go by. The Ranger is coming out in Q3 and it should arrive weeks before the new Hilux.

The Toyota Hilux is said to offer the 2.8 litre turbocharged engine and this should have four cylinders on the automatic diesel engine with 6 speeds. There should also be a 3.2 litre and this is going to offer five cylinders and it is going to be made available in 6 speed manual or automatic.

The Triton is expected to offer an engine of 2.4 litres with 4 cylinders and this should come with five speed auto and 6 speed manual gears.

We have also heard about a twin turbocharged with 7 speeds and this is going to be the 2.3 litre offering 6 speed manual gears.

The Toyota Hilux is going to be available in a 2.4 litre turbodiesel and this should have 5 speed manual gears.

The Ford Ranger will offer the 2.2 litre and the Navara from Nissan is going to have the 2.3 litre engine and we are expecting a 2.7 litre petrol and 4 litre petrol.

But is the Ford Ranger going to have what it needs for it to beat the trucks from Toyota, Nissan and Mitsubishi?
