2016 Ford Mustang Better Than Chevrolet Camaro?

By  |

It’s long been known as a constant battle between these two rivals; the Ford Mustang and the Chevrolet Camaro. Everyone talks about it all the time and we’re still not sick of it. And until we tell you who’s going to trump the other in this latest duel, you’re still not going to be sick of it, we’re that sure.

Ford’s been known to have designers that work so much harder than those of their Chevy counterparts, and you could totally see the difference when you compare their taillights side by side. The Mustang’s vertical three-bar taillights, for example, look as though they’ve just come out of a 3D printer, whereas the Camaro’s traditional horizontal lights feels just plastic-y.

While the Mustang couldn’t beat the Camaro in terms of composure – even in the former’s Performance package – there’s no denying that the Mustang’s brake handling takes the upper hand of the two. You’ll be expecting the Camaro to stop just fine but lacks the pedal feel of the Mustang, and moreover, you’ve got to love Ford’s manual gearbox as it accepts quick shifts without a peep from the syncros.

What we can say is that there’s basically magic in the connection between the engine and transmission of the Mustang that the Camaro cannot even replicate. And that alone says a lot. Are you feeling even more prouder of your Mustang now than ever before?
