2016 Ford Focus RS: Snowy Surprises

By  |

Extreme weather conditions which includes snow and more snow, the Ford Focus RS has got you covered. The company apparently wants you to believe that their 2016 edition of the Focus RS could withstand any kind of condition while still providing you the ultimate driving experience. They might have just excelled in that.

This hot hatchback now comes with an optional winter tire package and it should get you excited about driving around the snowy roads. You’ll be expecting a set of 18-inch aluminium alloy wheels painted silver to help hide the salt and dirt of winter roads, and also, thanks to the rims that are of similar design of their 19-inch wheels, it still looks stylish.

If you’re wondering how much the entire winter tire package costs, it’s got a price tag of $1,995. Each of the 225/40R18 Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 tires costs $225.35, so the tires carry a purchase price of around $900 and $1,000 is a pretty reasonable price for a set of tires with pressure sensors.

It’s more of an advantage if you live in Canada, because it turns out that this optional tire package is a standard equipment there. We’re just unclear if you could upgrade it to the 19-inch black wheels instead. Still, it’s pretty cool to have your hot hatchback to come equipped with some of the best tires in town.

Would you be getting your Focus RS some new sets of tires?
