2016 Dodge Charger Hellcat AWD Can Go To H***

Recently it came to light that the 2016 Dodge Charger Hellcat had been spotted in a parking lot in Colorado. While there was nothing to suggest that the vehicles parked up came with AWD there is no other reason why Dodge should be putting the cars through testing if they weren’t.

The Dodge Charger Hellcat AWD does sound like a great idea when engineers were asked they said that the two vehicles seen were not all-wheel drive. They said that there were some clues on the vehicles that proved that the vehicles were not all-wheel drive.

They pointed out that the Hellcat vehicle in the video didn’t have wheel centres and in the middle of the wheel was just a black hole. Cars that are all-wheel drive comes with halfshafts and these extend through the assembly of the hub with a big nut on the end. If it doesn’t come with the large nut there would be nothing holding the halfshaft in its place and so there cannot be AWD.

So if the 2016 Dodge Charger Hellcats that were parked up in the parking lot did in fact have AWD then they would have to some type of high tech system not involving halfshafts, along with rear hub assembly that was redesigned.

Of course there are many reasons why they may have been testing out the 2016 Dodge Charger Hellcat, other than because it comes with AWD.

But what do you think? Were they testing the 2016 Dodge Charger Hellcat or not?
