By  |

The Honda Ridgeline is one vehicle that has been getting a lot of attention since it made an appearance at the Detroit Auto Show. While it was received well some people have criticized it for having looks that are boring. Now the vehicle is taking on the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado, the Toyota Tacoma and the Nissan Frontier, but which comes out ahead?

Some people have said that the Toyota Tacoma, Chevrolet Colorado and the Nissan Frontier are tougher than the Honda Ridgeline. But can the Ridgeline carry its own weight in a battle with the bigger guys?

The Chevrolet Colorado has more horses, while you get more torque if you go for the Nissan Frontier. This is something that the Honda Ridgeline simply cannot beat. The Chevrolet Colorado comes with towing payload that is great and the Ridgeline isn’t able to match it.

The Honda Ridgeline does come out tops in one aspect and this is that it does have the widest payload. This is one area where the vehicle is ahead.

The Toyota Tacoma has blind spot monitoring but the Honda Ridgeline beats it with safety features that include lane departure warning.

The Honda Ridgeline cannot beat the Toyota Tacoma, Chevrolet Colorado and the Nissan Frontier hands down, but the vehicle does have somethings going for it that the others don’t.
