2016 BMW M2 Review: The Good Old Days Are Back

By  |

It’s going to feel as if it’s a newborn, since the BMW M2’s predecessor wasn’t an M-anything. And that just means everything is going to go as planned; something fans would rejoice over, and there would be lots of interesting features to attract enthusiasts’ attention.

The 2016 BMW M2, if anything, is going to look and feel the part. Why so? That’s because the interior looks just as amazing as how the exterior is dialling up a notch or two. Perhaps the most stand-out feature from the exterior is a set of four exhaust tips, protruding in matched pairs on either side. In terms of interior, you’ll also be expecting it to not go overboard just like how the exterior ended up too.

Apart from that, it’s worth mentioning that there are also “M” badges and M-themed accoutrements just about everywhere you set your eyes on inside the car. They must never have felt prouder, and we don’t see why they shouldn’t. If you’re wondering what’s under the hood, do expect something that’s bigger and badder too. It’s going to be powered by a 3.0L unit which delivers 365 horsepower and 343 lb-ft of torque.

So, there’s that to look forward to. It’s kind of like a nice feeling that you’re brought back to all over again, eh?
