More than a few Fortnite players have reported that their accounts are getting hacked. According to the reports, some players were getting charge for V-Bucks and that the Save the World game showed up even when the player did not purchase it.

Because credit card data is being stored in Epic Games’ profile, it would be easy for hackers to use the credit card for the performance if they do manage to hack into the account.

Epic later responded to all the complains saying that they are aware of the hacking and that they are working with affected players to resolve the issue. Some players have reported that Epic did refund them so if your account has been compromised, do contact Epic.

Epic has also released for details about the upcoming Jetpack and some of the new features that players can expect this month.
