Verizon Motorola DROID 4 Ice Cream Sandwich Update Gets Green Light

Verizon have given their approval for the Android Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Motorola DROID 4 reports DroidLife. Last week they announced a soak test but as yet nothing has been said about whether it did roll out to any of those who asked to take part in the test. HTC Bringing “Ice Cream Truck” To Its Android Users This Month

While Android 4.1 Jelly Bean has been announced, HTC smartphone users would be only too happy if they got a taste of the Ice Cream Sandwich Android 4.0 update which has eluded most phones till now. It seems that this may become a reality within the next few weeks if you own an HTC device as they have said through Facebook that they will be releasing the update within a couple of weeks for multiple devices. Best Ice Cream Sandwich Experience: S3, One X Or RAZR MAXX?

The Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX got its Ice Cream Sandwich update earlier this summer, making it the first of Motorola's phones to get it.
