Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro: Another Depressing Release

By  |

The Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro has been released and it is yet another depressing launch from the company. We say this as once again there is no support for LTE over in the US.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro offers up a display of 5 inches at 720p, has a battery of 4100mAh, supports dual SIM card or a SIM and support for SD memory expansion and comes with 3GB of RAM, 32GB storage and a fingerprint scanner. If only they had added in support for LTE over in the US, this may have been a great buy.

Some people have pointed out that the lack of LTE for the US is a legal issue as royalties have to be paid to support LTE in the US. So to keep the price of the device down LTE support in the US is absent.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro offers superb battery life, having come in third in the battery tests of GSMArena. On the downside is the fact that full charging time from zero is around three hours.

While it doesn’t work on LTE in the US it does work on HSPDA+, if you can live with it.
