The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is going to be announced at an event in China on October 25 and this follows numerous leaks along with speculation about the handset. One of the latest leaks has been that the device doesn’t like bezels. It is said that the handset will come with an all top display, without sensors or front camera and this should make it stand out among the competition on the market.
Xiaomi said that Tony Leung, the Hong Kong actor, is going to host the event and photos of what is said to be the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 have been posted on the Weibo site. They show the device to offer a bezel on all four of its sides that is ridiculously thin.
Previously it was rumoured that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 may arrive with dual edge display, however this isn’t known as the handset has only been shown off from the front. It is thought that the device will offer the Snapdragon 821 SoC and a battery of 3600mAh.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 should come with two speakers at the bottom, a fingerprint sensor and be available in choices of 6GB RAM and 64GB storage and 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The price tags are thought to be CNY 2, 499 and CNY 2, 799.
