We heard Waze talking about integrating with Android Auto at the 2016 Google I/O and then things went very quiet on the subject. That is until last month when new signs began to show.
The first we heard about Waze coming to launch for Android Auto was by way of a Tweet. Waze said that the integration was in the beta stage and that people wouldn’t have to wait long for the production to make its way out.
At the 2017 CES we heard more about it from Waze when they teased that compatibility with Android Auto would happen this month. Rumours quickly went around online that this was going to happen on 21 January.
Of course this date hasn’t actually been confirmed so you are going to have to take it with a pinch of sale. But one thing that we do know is that we are getting closer to the launch of Waze for Android Auto.
