We already knew that Volkswagen was working on a new five-passenger Volkswagen Atlas concept and now, it has been revealed they will be showing off the concept at the New York Auto Show.

According to Volkswagen, the two-row Volkswagen Atlas will be produced at their Tennessee manufacturing plant. The same plant as the three-row model. The concept will show some of the important features of the upcoming model but will still be fitted with some non-production features.

Overall, we do not think that it will look that different from the three-row model. The biggest change could just be a shorter body. There were speculations that Volkswagen might call it something else when they release the vehicle but we will only know when Volkswagen reveal more at the show.

We have already seen a few concept arts of the show so we know what to expect including the swoopier floating roofline, three-bar grille, integrated headlights and more.
