Owners of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the Samsung Galaxy S5 have been waiting to hear about the update to Marshmallow for some time now. Now we are hearing that the update is about to hit handsets from next month.

We have heard that beta testing of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow has started and that it is heading to carriers in April.

At the moment there haven’t been any official announcements about the update to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow so we are going to have to wait and see what happens. If you don’t wish to wait for the official update you can get hold of a custom version of the ROM to use.

The custom version of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow is available for the G900F version of the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE and the update gives the handset more stability along with better performance.
