Verizon Version of Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and S5 to Get Marshmallow Update

The Samsung Galaxy S5 along with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is both getting updated to Android Marshmallow.

The beta version of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow has been tested and carriers will be offering up the update in April. So if you own the Samsung Galaxy S5 or the Note 4 you may wish to check to find out if the update is available for your handset.

At the moment there hasn’t been any announcement that is official. However owners of the Samsung Galaxy S5 can get hold of the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update by way of a custom ROM.

The custom ROM is for the G900F and it is for the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE handset. The update is said to help improve the stability and performance of the handset once it has been updated to Marshmallow.
