If you happen to be already on a prepaid plan at Verizon then you should check out changes that will occur around 1st February.
Verizon unlimited plans coming to prepaid users
Droid-Life reports that the carrier may be about to change the current $80 option for phones and offer instead two new plans, one at $70 and the other at $60. The $70 plan with offer users unlimited talk and text, which will be the same as the old plan, along with 2GB of 3G data, while with the $60 plan you will be able to get unlimited talk and text and 500MB of data.
At the moment the plan is $80 and you get unlimited talk and text and 1GB of data. Verizon offer the 2GB as a promotion to anyone who has signed with them for the $80 before 31st January. When the plan takes effect you will want to go down to the $70 plan.
This is for the prepaid plans on Verizon only with 3G data. At the moment there are no plans for the 4G prepaid. The only options of phones at the moment are the HTC Rhyme, Samsung Illusion and some Blackberry devices from the 80s.
