With Verizon Wireless skipping out on the Samsung Galaxy S2 last year, many subscribers are skeptical also to whether Big Red will be getting the Galaxy S3 or focusing on the next big Android device (Motorola DROID RAZR HD?).
Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 spotted in benchmark test
Well there is some good and bad news for those of you waiting for a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3. The folks over at Phandroid have stumbled upon the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 in Nenamark benchmark. The good news is that this pretty much confirms that Verizon will be carrying the Samsung Galaxy S3:
“The following Nenamark benchmark was found last night, quite clearly stating the carrier (Verizon) and the GPU (Adreno 225) for a device named SCH-I535. Additionally, the 1.5 GHz CPU info helps point towards the S4.”
The bad news of course is that the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 doesn’t seem to come with the quad-core Exynos processor. It instead looks to be coupled with a dual-core Snapdragon S4. Now the S4 is no lightweight either however if you had your sights set on an Exynos then you may need to look towards a US carriers which doesn’t expect to throw LTE support in with the Galaxy S3 (T-Mobile).
We’ll keep you posted as more develops.
