The Samsung Galaxy S3 is finally getting its Android Jelly Bean update in some parts of the world. Here in the US, only one carrier has been so lucky and that is Sprint.
Of course, the big question now is when will the other US carriers deliver the Jelly Bean update, in particular the largest carrier in the US – Verizon Wireless. Samsung Mobile US has promised to have all carriers deliver the update before the year is up, if not by the start of next year. However it may not be so far away after all.
The folks over at Droid-Life have received a little tip which suggests that the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean update may roll out this Friday, in other words just 3 days more.
The Android Jelly Bean update brings a ton of new features to the Samsung Galaxy S3, including Google Now and Project Butter. There is of course an Android 4.2 update already but there is no word when (and if) the Samsung Galaxy S3 will get it.
