By  |

If you own the Samsung Galaxy S3 and you are with AT&T, Sprint, Verizon or T-Mobile you will have received the 4.1 Jelly Bean update. It wasn’t long back when the top carriers in the US were all racing each other to see who would win the race for the update. Verizon, who happens to be the biggest carrier, came in last place.

The update to Jelly Bean on Verizon leaked in September of 2012 and thanks to this people thought that Verizon would offer it shortly after. While the update was rolled out with other carriers, Verizon left their Samsung Galaxy S3 customers waiting. Due to the fact that they are the biggest carrier in the US, many individuals were upset.

Owners of the handsets in Australia and Canada, along with other regions around the globe, rubbed salt into the wound of Verizon customers when they go the update.

Android 4.1.1 arrives with the typical bloatware of Verizon and it could have been this that caused the delay of the update.

Customers over at AT&T were happy that they were not last to get their hands on the update to Jelly Bean. They got the update on Kies, instead of OTA, which is puzzling.
