Days ago it was reported that owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3 in Australia were getting their hands on the Jelly Bean update. Verizon however are keeping quiet about the update in the US and today we are hearing that owners of the S3 in Canada are also getting the Jelly Bean update.
AT&T & Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean update taking too long
Those who are lucky enough to be with Sprint and T-Mobile appear to be a select group in the US as both AT&T and Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 users don’t have the update yet, and they are the largest two carriers here.
Samsung are anxiously watching as major US carriers fail to get the update out. Given their already tarnished track record here in the US, this isn’t what Samsung wants to see happen with Verizon and AT&T users.
Of course it isn’t just Samsung who is sweating. There surely must put pressure on both AT&T and Verizon, to get their act together and get the Samsung Galaxy S3 update out. It makes you wonder what the delay is with the two top carriers in the US and which tweaks they are making to the stock update that is causing the holdup.
