Some days ago owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3 on Verizon got treated to a huge update and with it came a whole host of new features, along with improvements. However it seems that some issues have come to light and the update was not the permanent fix that owners had hoped for.

The list of user’s still experiencing issues after updating has been growing regarding the 4G LTE signal as data speeds have slowed down, with some users saying that they have dropped off completely. Over at the Android Community there has been many emails from owners of the handset who say that they are only getting 1 to 2 bars signal for LTE and the speed is very slow.

Some say the signal is not stable and devices are getting stuck on 3G, which means a reboot is needed, some have tried turning the airplane mode off and back on and others have performed a factory reset and the issue has still caused problems.

However other users have been singing the praises of the update and have not encountered issues, they have said that owners might want to change the network mode to LTE/CDMA in the settings.

While some users have said that this helps, others have not had the same luck. It seems that there are issues with firmware and this need to be sorted out by the carrier, with a proper fix being made available.

So have you updated and have you had issues since you made the update?
