In September we saw the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 leak on Verizon, however it came with the logo of Verizon on the home button on the front of the handset. When the first photos were posted it was thought that this would just be on the test device, however this wasn’t the case. This left many people wondering why they would deface such as stunning device this way and it put many people off.
Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 2 home button’s been tattooed
Samsung released photos of the Galaxy Note 2 on Verizon which show the branding on the home button yesterday and it looks atrocious (see bottom).
Not satisfied with ruining the front of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with branding, Big Red also went ahead and stamped a large logo on the back of the device which says Verizon 4G LTE. This doesn’t look too bad and would have been ok as we have gotten used to brandings of this nature on the back of device, but there is no forgiving the home button logo.
Of course there are ways that you can cover it up or remove it, but the point is that it shouldn’t have been put there in the beginning.
Update: Some people have said that the logo on the home button can be scratched off very easily, while others have said that it’s hard to get the logo off. If you are stuck with the device with the logo on then you could try a penny and some tape, as this is said to be the best way to go about removing the logo. However be careful as you could take the paint off too.
