AT&T are getting ready for the arrival of a new device from Samsung, if benchmark data proves to be correct. But what device will the SGH-i317 be?
Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 2 still missing as T-Mobile & AT&T variants surface
The device was first picked up on GLBenchmark and has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It was noted that it was aimed at AT&T and that it had a processor that was clocked at 1.6GHz. With specs such as these one, PocketNow thinks that it will be the Galaxy Note 2 which Samsung have recently announced as the Exynos 4 quad core runs at this speed.
Coincidentally, it was just yesterday that the folks over at TMoNews picked up on another Android with similar specs headed their way, assuming that it was the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 2. So it looks like the phablet already may have picked two homes.
The next question is what about a Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note 2? Given that Verizon has already confirmed the LG Intuition, another phablet, and the recently leaked HTC phablet with its red trim looking a lot like Verizon’s colors, it seems that the carrier may already have enough phablets. Whether these two devices can compare to the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 however is unclear.
