Verizon Locks Down Galaxy Note 2 Like It’s The Federal Reserve

Photos were revealed last week of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 last week which is supposedly headed to Verizon. The handset was shown to have the Verizon branding on the home button up front and it seems that those wanting the device on Verizon will have to put up with the fact that the Note 2 will come with its bootloader locked adds GottaBeMobile.

This means of course that users will be unable to install custom ROMs. The news of this will perhaps not come as such a shock as Verizon released the Samsung Galaxy S3 recently and this too had the bootloader locked.
