Motorola are getting ready to launch the Droid Razr HD and it could be on 5th September when it will then go head to head with the Samsung Galaxy S3 and upcoming iPhone 5.
Motorola DROID RAZR HD and iPhone 5 headed to Verizon
With the release of the iPhone 5 being just around the corner, prices for the iPhone 4S are being dropped by Verizon and the same is set to happen with the Droid handsets as Verizon make way for the new model. This would include the Droid Razr, Razr Maxx and Droid 4.
At the moment Verizon have the Razr Maxx on sale at $199 and the Razr and Droid are $99. When the Razr and Razr Maxx first came out they commanded $299 each and the Droid 4 $199. These are not just special offers or temporary, they are the prices for the handsets as Verizon want to clear the shelves of stock to give room to the new model i.e. Motorola DROID RAZR HD.
The Droid handsets are the most popular and successful for Motorola. Everyone loves the battery life of the Maxx at 3300mAh. The Droid 4 has a superb keyboard which was an excellent substitute for those wanting to move away from Blackberry.
If you fancy getting your hands on one of the handsets cheap then you can make your way over to Verizon and get yourself a good deal on one of the current Droids, that is if you are not waiting for the Razr HD.
