After all the speculations, we finally got to see and hear what the smaller Apple iPhone is all about when Apple announced it at the Apple Event earlier this week.
Called the Apple iPhone SE, the device will be coming in with a 4inch display screen just like the good old days. While most smartphone manufacturers are working towards a larger smartphone, it looks like there is still a large group of smartphone users that miss having a small smartphone that can actually fit inside their pocket.
Most of the smaller smartphones we have now come with lower specs but not the Apple iPhone SE. The device will be powered by the A9 and M9 processor that is also used in the Apple iPhone 6s right now. It will also come fitted with a 12MP iSight camera, Touch ID and more.
Pre-orders will be starting on the 24th of March. The 16GB model will retail for $399 while the 64GB version will retail for $499. Customers will get to choose from four colors, Silver, Gray, Rose Gold and Gold.
The Apple iPhone SE will be officially released on the 31st of March.
