There is good news for owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3 if you are with US Cellular, as the update to Jelly Bean is coming your way.

The update will start rolling out to owners of the Samsung Galaxy S3 on Friday 21st December. The update will occur wirelessley, or owners can plug their device into the computer with a USB cable and head over to the website of US Cellular for the next steps.

The carrier is among the last in the US to roll-out the Android update to Jelly Bean 4.1 for the Samsung Galaxy S3. Verizon just rolled it out last week while the other top US carriers (Sprint, AT&T and T-Mobile) have had their users enjoying it for some time now.

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean offers owners of the US Cellular Samsung Galaxy S3 features such as Google Now, improved notifications and camera extras, among many other things.
