Anyone who bought a locked Samsung handset cheaper with contract may be interested in an unlock code that is going around. The code is said to unlock devices such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, 2, S3 and the S4 and more.
While it does save you money to purchase a handset that is locked, once the contract expires you then have to unlock it before you can take it to another carrier. With this leaked code you can do it easily.
So if you want to unlock your Samsung Galaxy Note 3, 2, S3, S4 and more, check out the steps below.
One: Insert a new SIM card into your Galaxy Note 2 or Galaxy S4.
Two: Turn off your device then turn it back on again.
Three: Head to the dialpad and enter in *#197328640#.
Four: Choose UMTS > Debug Screen > Phone Control > Network Lock > Options Perso SHA256 OFF.
Five: Wait for 30 seconds or so before heading back into the main menu by choosing “back”.
Six: In your main menu, you’ll see “Network Lock”, so now choose NW Lock NV Data INITIALLIZ.
If all have gone to plan you should now have a device that is unlocked. Along with unlocking the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, 2, S3 and the S4 you can try it on other Samsung handsets.
