Toyota has opened up about the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro as they have announced that the vehicle is going to come in at the top end of the range and it will have a price tag of $40, 760 for the double cab manual.
The Tacoma TRD Pro is going to offer up 278 horses thanks to the V6 3.5 litre engine that has been boosted with all-terrain capabilities. We also know that the truck is going to offer up some cool tech, such as oil cooler, 130 amp alternator and power steering cooler.
The off the road setup of the Tacoma TRD Pro is going to come with FOX 2.5 internal bypass shocks, rear suspension with off-road leaf spring, front springs with 1 inch lift and stainless steel exhaust.
This may mean that the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro might just end up being the complete pickup package. It would be a workhorse of a truck and it can tackle the wilderness. But how will it compete up against the Honda Ridgeline?
