There are numerous ways that you can measure the EV powertrain of an EV car and one of these is by calculating the driving range that you can get from an EV. If you go on the range as being the primary measurement then you would have to agree that one of the best vehicles on the market at the moment is the Tesla Model S.
The Tesla Model S P100D is said to offer up a driving range of 315 miles and this is three more than what is offered with the Toyota Mirai. Of course the latter doesn’t just rely on an electric powertrain, however the primary source does come from electric which is produced from hydrogen.
When you take this into account the Toyota Mirai is able to offer up a driving range of 312 miles and hydrogen can then be refilled as fast as when refilling gasoline. The Tesla Model S does come with the biggest driving range but the Toyota Mirai is the best for the amount of distance covered within a period of 24 hours.
The Toyota Mirai did manage to get itself into the Guinness World Records for the vehicle with the longest range in 24 hours. The record was made by True Zero, the hydrogen provider and it motivated them to make more hydrogen stations in the future.
