Toyota Camry Mimics Prius Without Hybrid

By  |

The Toyota Camry is a very popular sedan and we are getting ready to be introduced to the next generation. This has got people excited as they cannot wait to find out what the vehicle is going to offer.

The Toyota Camry next generation is coming next year and when it does it is going to offer up some competition to the semi-autonomous driving technology from Honda. While this is all well and good, what consumers really want to know is if the vehicle is going to offer an exciting drive.

The Toyota Camry will offer the TNGA platform, which the Toyota Prius also shared. It is also thought that the same will be seen on the Honda CR-HR. The platform is lightweight and this should mean that the Camry will offer better fuel efficiency. Along with this people are hoping that the fun factor isn’t going to be lost, perhaps the Toyota Prius will show us this.

The Toyota Prius has been called ugly but it does up engaging performance and we think that the same is going to be seen in the next gen Toyota Camry.

We are expecting the Toyota Camry to be a lot like the Toyota Prius under the disguise of a midsized sedan, but it won’t have the hybrid engine. One thing that it shouldn’t offer is the design language of the Prius.
