If you love the Samsung Galaxy S3 and you have a passion for full slide out QWERTY keyboards you will love the Galaxy S Relay 4G that is heading to T-Mobile this month.
T-Mobile getting a Samsung Galaxy S3 “slider” in the form of the Relay 4G
The device was announced by the carrier today and it will be available from September. As CP points out, this is basically a Samsung Galaxy S3 with a sliding keypad. The vice president of product management said that the device would be the perfect addition for those looking to integrate their personal and work lives, providing T-Mobile customers with a reliable business centered Android experience with access to entertainment.
The Galaxy S Relay 4G will work on the HSPA+ network of T-Mobile and has a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen and a 5 megapixel camera on the back and 1.3 on the front. The device runs on a dual core S4 processor from Snapdragon, has 16GB of storage internally and comes with ICS Android 4.0 with the Jelly Bean update coming along in the future.
Its biggest downside compared to the Samsung Galaxy S3 would be its slightly thicker body and a 5MP shooter versus 8MP (although as we’ve stated before, megapixels aren’t everything and this device seems to be packing a similar sensor to that on the S3).
