We’ve been coming across multiple leaks about the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 2 since earlier this week and now the folks over at TMoNews have come across another major discovery that is the phablet – 4G LTE support.
T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 2 supports 4G LTE
The tech blog reports that FCC filings for the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 2 reveal the following frequencies: 850/1900 GSM/GPRS/EDGE, 850/1700/1900 WCDMA/HSPA, Band 4 (5, 10, 15, 20 MHz), 17 LTE (5, 10 MHz).
That confirms both LTE roaming and the T-Mobile LTE network bands that the pink carrier hopes to have in place by 2013. Unfortunately not much else was revealed by the FCC filing due to it being under confidentiality. Nevertheless this is huge just like the device!
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 of course shares the best of both worlds – smartphone and tablet. And now that T-Mobile users can be confident that it is future proof thanks to LTE, they won’t have to worry about having to switch to another device sometime next year when LTE rolls out. Have a good weekend folks!
